The Telegraph report:

Scottish Government records show £5,513 was spent providing limousines for the First Minister on six visits to the capital, an average of £919 per trip.

Although officials refused to state what the visits concerned, some of the dates coincided with Mr Salmond’s attendance at last year’s Olympics and Wimbledon final.

The figures, which were obtained by the Sunday Post under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, also showed more than £33,000 has been spent on hotels and subsistence for the SNP leader since 2009.
