BBC refuses to answer FOI on voting on Strictly Come Dancing voting

The BBC has refused to provide a breakdown of how members of the public voted for contestants on Strictly Come Dancing that were asked for by a Freedom of Information request.

They did not provide the figures due to them being exempt due to ‘journalism, art or literature’.

The London Evening Standard report:

It’s another conspiracy.

The BBC has refused to disclose under the Freedom of Information Act a full weekly breakdown of public voting for the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing showing the number of votes cast per dancer, and judges’ scoring, rather than just overall ranking positions.
