BBC staff took almost 3,000 days off last year with stress related illness, a Freedom of Information request has revealed. 

London Loves Business report: 

Staff at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) have been taking thousands of days off due to stress over the last few years, with corporation having to spend over £130,000 each year on counselling.

This was revealed after a Freedom of Information Request by LondonlovesBusiness.com to the BBC.

In 2012, BBC staff took 2897 days off due to stress-related absence.
