FOI reveals 14,000 Lothian hospital patients treated in ‘wrong’ ward

MORE than 14,000 patients in Lothian have been treated in the “wrong” ward in the past two years, according to figures released by Labour today.

Shortages of specialist beds sometimes mean patients are moved to other departments.
