Thirty-eight police officers at Grampian Police have criminal records a Freedom of Information request has revealed. 

Officers who were suspended during the last three years, on full pay, also received almost £300,000.

A total of 38 officers in Grampian have criminal records, it has been revealed.

The offending officers at Grampian Police have been found guilty of crimes including assault, theft, vandalism, driving without a licence and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Of those, two were inspectors, four were sergeants and the remaining 32 were constables.
