FOI reveals £500 to feed BBC bosses in a meeting

The BBC’s highest-paid bosses have been spending up to £500 a time on food for staff meetings, according to figures disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act.

Rank and file staff are only allowed to claim up to £6 for lunch if they are away from the BBC’s offices for more than five hours at a time.

However, it would appear there is a different rule when it comes to senior directors.
