Thousands of pounds of taxpayers money has been spent on providing luxury cars for the council in Bridgend, a Freedom of Information request has revealed.
The council is making £27 million of cuts and one angry local resident said that if he had is way the councillors would all be catching the bus.

A FLEET of luxury cars is being provided for top bosses at Bridgend council at a cost of thousands to council taxpayers, the Gazette can reveal.
A Mercedes, BMW, Audi and a Jaguar XF, worth in the region of £30,000, are on the list of nine high end vehicles leased by the authority.
The plush cars, thought to be used by council bigwigs, cost council taxpayers around £73,000 in the past year alone – and vehicle leases tend to run for three of four years.
The details – released under the Freedom of Information Act – have sparked outrage among taxpayers with some branding the use of luxury cars as an “absolute disgrace”.
