FOI reveals 74 iPhones, 87 wallets and 77 suitcases left behind by passengers at Manchester Picadilly

Since the start of the year, Manchester Piccadilly station staff have collected 1,695 items of lost property – averaging 14 items a day.

And among the items that ended up in lost property were 74 iPhones, 31 handbags and 69 purses.

Network Rail, who manage Manchester Piccadilly , supplied the data to the M.E.N. in a freedom of information response.
