A knife-wielding al-Qaeda terrorist who stabbed a policeman to death has claimed more than £50,000 in legal aid – the same amount the murdered cop’s family received in compensation .

Kamel Bourgass, 42, plunged his blade into Det Con Stephen Oake eight times when Special Branch raided his home 13 years ago.
