FOI reveals assaults on Lincolnshire hospitals staff approach 1,000 in five years

Health workers at Lincolnshire’s hospitals have been assaulted almost 1,000 times in the last five years.

The dramatic new data shows that there are more than 180 attacks on average a year in the county.

In total, 947 assaults have been recorded by health staff between 2010 and 2014.
