This is Leicester report:

Leicester City Council has nearly 100 bottles of wine in its stocks, it has been revealed.

Details of alcohol kept by the authority for use at “high profile receptions and events” have been released after a Freedom of Information request.

The council says its has a dozen bottles of sparkling Cava, a dozen bottles of white, 18 of red and 56 of rosé, kept at the town hall – largely for use at events hosted by the lord mayor – currently Councillor Abdul Osman.
