FOI reveals council spends £20k on cycle path opposite another one

A CYCLE route created opposite an existing path for riders cost rate payers £20,000, a Freedom of Information request has revealed.

Swansea Council introduced the cycle route between the city centre and Swansea University this year, to provide a safer cycling environment for hundreds of students who regularly use the route.
