FOI reveals Environment Agency Spent £17m On Staff Travel

The agency was criticised at the start of the year for it’s handling of the floods crisis which swept the country, forcing thousands to leave their homes.

The figures, obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request, show that in one year the Environment Agency spent more than £10 million on leasing vehicles, and over £7million for staff travel costs.

Following the investigation, Jacqueline from Leatherhead called LBC to tell about her time working for the Environment Agency – and their bizarre politically correct policies.

Reported by LBC. You can read the full story here.
