Bus services could be closed in the next round of government cuts, a Freedom of Information request has revealed.

Bus services “face collapse” and one in seven journeys will disappear under the next round of Tory-led Coalition cuts, a study reveals today.

The devastating cuts will spell the end of support for evening and Sunday services and badly-hit smaller towns.

And the evidence comes from the Government’s own figures released under Freedom of Information requests made by the charity Campaign for Better Transport.
