The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) put Barclays firmly in its sights last year, visiting the bank 186 times, more than twice as much as any other bank.

A Freedom of Information request showed that the regulator carried out 186 visits to Barclays in 2014, more than 100 more than next most visited bank HSBS with 85.
