At least 25 students have been kicked out of university in Manchester and Salford for cheating, violence and general bad behaviour.

Scores more have been suspended and hundreds of others given warnings after being found guilty of misconduct – academic and non-academic.

Manchester Metropolitan University handed out £15,000-worth of fines to 1,600 students found guilty of ‘non-academic misconduct.’
