A police officer was awarded £9,000 in compensation after stumbling on a pothole in a station car park.
The unnamed female officer is one of several officers from Sussex Police who have sued the force after suffering injuries at work.

The force agreed an out-of-court settlement after the woman suffered an ankle injury when tripping up in February 2011 in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
