FOI reveals TfL spent £1,000 on posters put up in tribute to Bob Crow

Transport for London spent more than £1,000 putting up pictures of the late trade union leader Bob Crow in Tube stations.

The organisation revealed it cost £1,050 to “acquire the rights to Mr Crow’s photograph”, which it put up in tribute to the RMT leader.

Managing director of London Underground Mike Brown authorised the posters, it said, following Mr Crow’s death on March 11 this year, aged 52.
