Isle of Man FOI delayed yet again

The Isle of Man Examiner report:

Chief Minister Allan Bell has expressed concern at the ‘huge’ cost of introducing a Freedom of Information Act in Jersey.

And he has admitted there is no time frame for introducing similar legislation in the Isle of Man.

Mr Bell told Tynwald at the July sitting: ‘I intend to introduce a Bill to the branches which provides a legislative framework for suitable freedom of information rights by December 31 this year.
