The Manchester Evening News report:
Traffic wardens have been punched, spat on and even hit by cars during more than 60 attacks by furious motorists in Manchester over the last year.
Several officials were also racially abused and had their ticket machines broken, while one warden found his bike covered in urine.
A desperate driver even tried to bribe a warden to avoid a ticket.
