The Plymouth Herald report:
MORE than 7,000 school days were lost through Plymouth teachers being out of the classroom from stress over the last five years.
Altogether 242 stressed teachers have taken 7,141 days out of the classroom between 2007 and 2012, as revealed by a Herald investigation.
And 6,599 teachers in the city have taken leave from other illnesses over that period.
