STUDENTS have claimed more than £15,000 in compensation from Plymouth City
Council for personal injuries at city schools, The Herald can reveal. One student was pushed off a slide, another reacted to an antibacterial spray used for cleaning and another sustained burns to the forearms.
In the last three financial years the total the council has paid out is £15,845 for the incidents.
The pupil who sustained burns to their forearms was paid £9,700, while the pupil who was injured when pushed off a slide received £4,145.
