Almost 20 allegations of abuse against children at sports clubs in Gloucestershire have been investigated in the last year alone.

Since 2013, 41 reports of abuse of varying form against youngsters have been made to police and other authorities concerning clubs in 15 different sports.

Nineteen of those came in 2016, four of which have led to criminal investigations. Three are still on-going.
