Brussels cash has helped Fife tackle poverty and funded job-boosting programmes in Angus since 2013/14, according to council figures obtained by the party.

Fife has received £1.25m a year on average from EU coffers over the last four years, compared with £425,000 in Angus and £212,250 in Perth and Kinross.

Dundee did not respond in time to the freedom of information request.
