Cannabis plants were stolen from a Merseyside Police base in an audacious theft.

Two plants and three bags of “cropped cannabis” were taken from a station in Liverpool.

The drugs were among more than a dozen bikes, several Apple devices and even a police flat cap stolen from stations and patrol vehicles across Merseyside.
