Children in North Lincolnshire have been arrested more than 1,000 times in the last two years a Freedom of Information request has revealed. 

The Scunthorpe Telegraph report:

KIDNAP, rape, possession of a firearm and money laundering are among the offences carried out by under-18s in North Lincolnshire in the past two years.

More than 1,100 offenders under the age of 18 have been arrested by Humberside Police in our area during the past two years – some of them as young as 10.

The most common offences were burglary, theft and criminal damage.
