The Oldham News report:

ASSAULT, drink-driving and misconduct in public office are all crimes committed by… serving Greater Manchester Police officers. 

A freedom of information request revealed 26 serving officers have criminal records dating from 2006-2013.

Assault features on the record of four officers, and two have been convicted of assault inside a police vehicle. Two have convictions for drink driving, and two more were convicted of driving without due care and attention — one case involving an officer on duty, in a police car.
