Monday 21st September is the birthday of our esteemed Information Commissioner, Chris Graham.

Although an entirely private matter, we devotees of information rights and beer should get together, complain about the ICO (the office, not the man, of course), and raise a glass to the chap who cleared the complaints backlog, but whose office no longer really looks into data breaches* unless the Daily Mail runs a headline about it.

* yeah, yeah, incidents, not breaches, whatever – if the ICO does not know the difference, why should I bother making the distinction?
