Pall-bearers at funerals are increasingly getting injured after having to carry more coffins of people who were overweight a Freedom of Information request has revealed. 

The Sun report:

THE obesity epidemic is hitting Britain’s undertakers as they are forced to lug heavy corpses.

Last year there were 138 “serious” accidents involving funerals.

Among cases probed by the Health and Safety Executive was a funeral home worker PINNED to the floor in Bromley, South East London, as they moved a chunky corpse on a stretcher.
