There are 20 children arrested each week for dealing drugs a Freedom of Information request has revealed. 

The Mirror report:

Children as young as 11 and 12 were among 1,200 youngsters arrested for drug dealing last year, alarming figures revealed yesterday.

More than 20 kids a week were held on suspicion of pushing. Around one in 10 were girls.

Campaigners fear veteran dealers are recruiting kids to sell on their behalf as they are less likely to arouse ­suspicion and will probably be treated more leniently by the authorities if caught.
