A surgical tool used to carry out rectal operations was one of the most bizarre items stolen from hospitals in Greater Manchester last year.
A car, a gold wedding ring, two laptops and hundreds of pounds in cash were also swiped from hospitals in the region during 2014.
The anal tool was one of three pieces of equipment swiped from The Christie hospital in Withington.
