Chester First report:
THOUSANDS of pounds of taxpayers money is spent filling up the Lord Mayor’s luxury Bentley each year.
Figures obtained by the Leader under a Freedom of Information Act request revealed it has cost local ratepayers £19,877 in petrol to run the council’s chauffeur-driven Bentley, which does 16.6 miles per gallon and has cost £150,900 in the past four years.
