Two drivers have been caught on camera doing 133mph on the county’s roads, new figures show.

The drivers were spotted by a speed camera on an unidentified stretch of the A1 in the last 12 months – and one of them was a police officer.

One driver used a cloned number plate to fox the camera and get off while it is understood the police officer was authorised to break the 70 mph national speed limit in the course of his duties.
