The public’s response to proposals in introduce freedom of information legislation on the Isle of Man has been “disappointing”, said the government.

A spokesman said a recent consultation drew a total of 34 comments, 26 from groups and eight from individuals.

The Freedom of Information Act was introduced in the UK in 2005.
