Wales Online report:

The victim of a hit-and-run incident has criticised South Wales Police for its response to such crimes after learning that in only one of 70 similar cases in Cardiff was the driver caught.

Former airline pilot John Harris, 60, was knocked off his bicycle by a car in front of Cardiff Castle on July 10 this year, injuring his shoulder and ankle.

He thinks the driver was angry because the presence of his bike slightly delayed the car as it moved off from traffic lights.
