Prison officers who have let inmates escape from jail have managed to keep their jobs, a Freedom of Information request has revealed.

A staggering 1,800 prison officers have kept their jobs despite committing sex assaults, trafficking, violence… and even letting prisoners escape.
And incredibly 87 bent warders are still in work after being convicted of a crime.
Just 478 of 2,300 guards found guilty of bad behaviour since 2010 were sacked.
