This is Surrey report:

MORE than 20 registered sex offenders have been uncovered by parents concerned about the safety of their children.

The information has been disclosed to them by Surrey Police after they utilised a law allowing parents to request background checks on neighbours – or anyone else who could come into contact with their children – to see if they are on the sex offenders register.
