Following the bill put to parliament this week that all private NHS contractors should be included in the Freedom of Information Act the BBC decided to run a brief segment on the issue.

Theo Blackwell, a councillor in Camden for Labour, presented a short piece on the issue before joining Home Office minister Damian Green and shadow justice secretary Sadiq Khan in the studio.

Labour’s once again promised f they win the next election they will make the changes to the Act while the Home Office minister said reiterated the position of the Justice Committee in saying that contractual causes issued to providers are working sufficiently.
