The worst areas for crime in Cambridge have been revealed by a Freedom of Information request.

THE blackspots for violence in Cambridge – and the safest places to live – can today be revealed.

A league table shows the number of violence crimes, ranging from common assault to stabbing to wounding with intent, that have occurred from December 2011 to March 2013.

Market ward is the city’s capital of hostility with 463 acts of violence recorded, figures released to the News under the Freedom of Information Act has revealed.
