The Daily Post report:

A MAYOR’S budget totalled more than £10,000 for flowers and nearly £44,000 for running a car over the last five years figures have revealed.

The total cost of functions and hospitality over that time was £104,479 for the Wrexham Mayor role, with the general and support staff costs at nearly £457,000.

The breakdown of the figures were given after Freedom of Information Requests, which have also revealed the total spending for the historic office was £680,000 over five years.
